"Call the Doctor" ist das zweite Studioalbum von Sleater-Kinney. Es wurde von John Goodmanson produziert und am 25. März 1996 von Chainsaw Records veröffentlicht. Das Album wird oft als das erste richtige Album von Sleater-Kinney angesehen, da Tucker und Co-Sängerin und Gitarristin Carrie Brownstein ihre vorherigen Bands, Heavens to Betsy und Excuse 17, zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahmen verließen. Das Line-up bestand aus Corin Tucker (Gesang, Gitarre), Carrie Brownstein (Gitarre, Gesang) und Lora Macfarlane (Schlagzeug, Gesang). "Call the Doctor" erschien 1996 auf Platz 3 der "Pazz & Jop"-Kritikerumfrage von The Village Voice. Im Jahr 2010 wurde das Album von den Redakteuren des Rolling Stone auf Platz 49 der Liste der 100 besten Alben der neunziger Jahre gewählt. Das Album wurde von Greg Calbi für diese Veröffentlichung frisch remastered.

 "Call the Doctor" is Sleater-Kinney's second studio album. It was produced by John Goodmanson and released on March 25, 1996 by Chainsaw Records. The album is often considered to be Sleater-Kinney's first proper album because Tucker and co-vocalist and guitarist Carrie Brownstein left their previous bands, Heavens to Betsy and Excuse 17, at the time of its recording. The line-up featured Corin Tucker (vocals, guitar), Carrie Brownstein (guitar, vocals) and Lora Macfarlane (drums, vocals). "Call the Doctor" appeared at #3 in The Village Voice's "Pazz & Jop" critics' poll for 1996. In 2010, the album was ranked #49 in the list of the 100 greatest albums of the nineties by the editors of Rolling Stone.
