CD im Digisleeve Ursprünglich von Nick Saloman selbst veröffentlicht und auf 500 Exemplare limitiert, stellt ,Miasma" das Debüt von THE BEVIS FROND dar, dem eine einflussreiche Karriere im britischen Neo-Psych-Rock folgen sollte. Bewaffnet mit einem Four-Track-Portastudio produzierte Saloman das Album, das ebenso wie eine Zweitpressung schnell und unverhofft ausverkauft war. Noch heute klingt es erfrischend und vereint einige von Salomans besten Songs. Von David Fricke (Rolling Stone) als ein ,HENDRIX-Verehrer, so hartnäckig und modern wie die Gitarrensounds von SONIC YOUTH und den PIXIES" bezeichnet, wurde er mit seinem Psych-Stonerrock zur Kultfigur.
