Am 23. Januar 2020 betraten Watchhouse aus North Carolina - Emily Frantz (Geige/Gesang) und Andrew Marlin (Mandoline/Gesang), damals noch unter dem Namen Mandolin Orange bekannt - die Bühne eines der bekanntesten Veranstaltungsorte in Austin, um ihr sechstes Album "Tides of a Teardrop" vorzustellen.

Watchhouse wurde 2009 in Chapel Hill, NC, gegründet und hat bereits sechs Alben mit original amerikanischer Roots-Musik veröffentlicht.Im Jahr 2021 änderte das Duo seinen Namen von Mandolin Orange in Watchhouse, wozu Marlin anmerkte:“Mandolin Orange was born out of my 21-year-old mind. The name isn’t what I strive for when I write”
